Board of Directors

Mullein Hill Christian Academy is administered by a Board of Directors. This board is responsible for establishing the policies governing the academy as well as developing the long-term vision for the academy. The members of the board are as follows:

Lisa Densman MHCA Board President

Lisa is a resident of Lakeville and is married with one daughter, an alum from MHCA. She attends Central Congregational Church in Middleboro and supports their AWANA program by running games for the Sparks and TNT groups. She volunteers at a local family homeless shelter as a PlayPal to the children there. She works full time for a medical device company and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Karen Burton MHCA Board Vice President

My name is Karen Burton. I am the mother of one adult daughter who attended Mullein Hill from K-8th grade. I also taught at MHCA for 11 years. I am currently an ESL teacher in New Bedford. I attend church and a small group Bible Study at Community Covenant Church in Rehoboth, MA. It is a privilege and a blessing to serve as a board member for Mullein Hill Christian Academy.

Mary Edwards

A current student at Johnson & Wales University pursuing a BS in accounting. She is an alum of Mullein Hill Christian Academy, and this is her first year on the board of directors. Mary attends Church of Our Savior, and Episcopal church in Middleboro center. After graduating MHCA and moving on to high school and college, she had an opportunity to join the board of directors as the alumni coordinator. She is looking forward to giving back to the school that helped mold her into the person she is today.

Jean Pollock Secretary

I am a wife and the mother of 3 adult children with 2 grandchildren. All of my children attended public school but am an advocate for Christian education in the world we now live in with hopes of raising up a strong believing generation. I am a semi-retired school nursing meaning I still sub & go on field trips with Middleboro Public Schools. For 35 years now, I have attended Rock Village Church. I made a profession of faith in 1971 but am still learning and growing in my walk of faith. My primary role on the MHCA Board is as secretary.

Bill Kowalski

I was born and raised in NY; relocated to MA to attend college where I met my wife, Susan and have lived here since. Growing up in the Catholic Church I always knew about God but was saved by grace when I was 35 years of age. The knowledge I accumulated in earning my degrees, a BS in Chemical Engineering and Masters in Business Administration cannot compare to the value in studying Scripture. My wife and I have been married for 44 wonderful years; we have three loving daughters and four grandchildren. We attend Rock Village Church. I have recently stepped out of my comfort zone into retirement.
